The BMFL WashBeam EV is a special version of a standard and extremely popular BMFL WashBeam fixture, which comes with second rotating gobo wheel (instead of animation wheel), offering in total 12 rotating and indexable gobos. The EV version has been designed for Japanese market, but upon request is now available also for other markets.

The BMFL WashBeam EV will enhance any show with its large beam produced through wide 180 mm front lens. With custom light source designed for Robe it produces an astounding 300.000 lux at 5 metres! Two rotating gobo wheels with carefully selected gobos ensure many combinations of in air animations, but can also produce nice spot-like projections on surfaces. Four fast shutter blades with smooth and precise movement offer individually angled positions within a frame - which itself can rotate through 90 degrees, providing a sharp or soft, precisely repeatable frame for the projected image. Fast movement of the framing system also allows unique in air beam effects. Adding frost filters can enhance the projection by adding smooth touches to the beam‘s edge.

Ultra-fins, ils peuvent être tous focalisés de manière nette, sans aucune distorsion. Ils peuvent être facilement utilisés en combinaison avec un gobo - et même si vous ajoutez de la couleur, vous n'aurez aucune aberration chromatique, également appelée "Fringing".

Adding Nuance to Hikaru Utada Science Fiction Tour Design

Creative studio FragmentNine (F9) led by Jeremy Lechterman was asked by creative director / production designer Jason Ardizzone-West of JAW Studio to collaborate on the lighting elements of an impressive production design for J-pop singer/songwriter and superstar Hikaru Utada’s 2024 tour, as the artist returned to live performance after a six-year hiatus for an extensive tour of Japan and Asia, supporting a new album project, Science Fiction.

Robe Lighting Show in Japan

Leading Japanese lighting designer Mr. Mitsumasa Hayashi created “The Robe Lighting Show” – a piece of light art at the Urayasu Mai Studio of the Nihon Stage Co.,Ltd. – which featured over 350 Robe moving lights. These were supplied by prominent Japanese rental companies, M-Tech Style and the Mula Corporation. The piece was commissioned by Mr. Masaharu Sakamoto who heads up LTG, Robe’s Japanese distributor.
