M3 Eventtechnik's owner Wolfgang Mayer explains that originally they planned to buy some  ROBIN 600E Spots. However, when they received the demo from Robe's Austrian distributor Signal Sound & Light, they also saw the ROBIN 300 LEDWash, and were so impressed by its power and performance ... that they decided to order some of these as well!

Co-owner and manager Gernot Mayer says, “The ROBIN LEDWash series is a real highlight of LED lighting technology right now. Obviously there is the power and quality of the light output, but other standard features like the onboard wireless DMX technology means that fixtures can be used nearly everywhere”.

The new Robe moving lights were primarily purchased for M3 Eventtechnik's own productions. One of their first events was a massive open air concert for Austrian superstar Hubert von Goisern at the Kaiserpark in Bad Ischl. Since then, the ROBIN 300 LEDWashes have been constantly on the road on a whole variety of shows.

Wolfgang Mayer adds, “Apart from having the latest technology, it's vital to us to  have a strong support and after-sales service and infrastructure in place, and so our excellent working relationship with Signal was a big influence in our decision".

He adds that with the new fixtures, they have the "Perfect tools" for B2B events, live concerts, clubs and trade shows and exhibitions.

"National and international artists like Rainhard Fendrich and Kalkbrenner will be put into the 'right light' this year”, says Gernot Mayer.

They are so pleased with the results that they have already ordered a quantity of Robe MMX Spots.

They are really excited about the unique Dual Graphics Wheel in these that can create the most stunning and intricate animation effects. "As from autumn this year the MMXs will join our expanding Robe family”, states M3's management proudly.
