Robe Show Lighting enjoyed another hugely successful LDI show, which was action packed with fun and interest including the Robe Open Golf Tournament held the day before the show, a host of new products on the booth and winning of the coveted LDI Product of The Year Award with its StageQube 324 LED wall.

Following on from the colourful and eye-catching booth design at PLASA 06, Robe UK’s Nathan Wan went to Las Vegas to repeat his magic touch at LDI. The booth occupied a larger surface area than at PLASA stand and featured the same creative enthusiasm.

All of the new products from PLASA were launched into the American market, and each of them was met with great interest.

Among those attracting particular attention were the new StageQube 324 and the 700 Series of moving light fixtures.

The show was again very busy, with numbers up on last year, with general visitor quality very high. Many people made the trip to Vegas not only to maximise the opportunities of seeing some technically complex shows, but also to generally soak up the mad party-town atmosphere.

Noticeable trends on the Robe booth included increasing awareness of the advantages of using good technology in the worship market.

Michael Carattini, President of Robe America says: “LDI this year was better than ever. Visitors to the booth included representatives from the top US lighting companies, leading designers, and serious buyers from all markets. We expect this show to launch Robe America into 2007 with greater achievement than ever before on the horizon.”

The Golf tournament once again excelled itself, with over 80 people registering – including Robe’s business partners, friends and the press. It was staged at Angel Park Golf Club where everyone enjoyed great weather, a fabulous setting and Robe’s famous hospitality. The winning team was Jay Coatney, Pete Watts, Brad White and Shahid Anwar (Avolites) with an impressive score of 6 under par!
