Working in all areas of technical production – corporates, live events, rock ‘n’ roll touring – and as well supplying lighting, sound and video to these productions – Musiklagret (The Music Warehouse) is also a very successful music store.

There are now over 30 Robe moving lights in the company’s hire stock, the latest being ROBIN 600 LEDWashes, which were purchased last year.

The first investment in Robe was eight years ago – Wash 250 XTs – which are still in active service today! These were followed by ColorSpot 575E ATs and then ColorSpot 700E ATs, all purchased through Robe’s Swedish distributor, Bellalite.

Says Benny, “Our Robes have been totally reliable and we are very happy with them. The price is good and we receive excellent service from Bellalite”.

The LEDWash 600s were purchased for their brightness, colour mixing facilities and general versatility as well as the power saving capabilities, which is important in a country like Sweden which is committed to being as ‘green’ and sustainable as possible.

For Musiklagret, having LEDWashes available means that they can replace the traditional PAR can/scroller combination with a fixture much lighter in weight fixture that offers hugely more options, draws a small fraction of the power and is much more cost-effective to maintain long term.

It’s a win-win situation!

Musiklagret’s Mikael Blohm designs and operates many of the shows and tours serviced by the company and comments, “All our kit has to be multi-purpose to cover the range of work, and the LEDWashes fit this brief perfectly. We are currently also really interested in the LEDWash 800 fixture”.

The LEDWash 600s have been out on tour with Swedish country artist Jill Jonson and TV show R.E.A. Live amongst numerous others …. and will be fully utilized for Musiklagret’s busy upcoming summer schedule.
