The 3rd Swiss Light & Sound Show took place in October 2006 in Lucerne, Switzerland, with Robe represented by Swiss distributor Audio Tech.

They had one of the larger booths at the exhibition and decided to present a radical design by Eliane and Joggy of FreePowerMusic with no trussing, instead opting for scenery based on an old metal frame-worked industrial building.

For lighting positions, they flew two large steel i-beams, onto which was attached a ColorSpot 1200AT, 5 ColorWash 1200ATs and 4 ColorWash 575AT Zooms. On the floor, a vertically positioned i-beam featured 6 ColorWash 575AT Zooms, two ColorWash 575AT Zooms, two ColorWash 250ATs and 4 ColorMix 250ATs for the scenery illumination. The info desk and the bar was illuminated by LEDWashes 136LT.

The main ROBE focus was to present the new ColorSpot 700AT, ColorWash 700AT and ColorWash 750AT Tungsten Moving Head series – for which there was a hugely positive response. The ColorWash 575AT Zoom and the MediaSpinner also attracted plenty of interest and the Anolis LED products as well, specially from the installation market.

The 2006 Show was a huge success for Audio Tech and exceeded all their expectations. Their presence in the hall was highly visible, and the booth proved a great talking point and hub, keeping busy for the entire show. They reached many quality customers as well as generating lots of interest among end-users, which was one of the essential reasons for being there.
